Waiting in San José for flight to Las Vegas

Ok, so there was absolutely no traffic from Pleasanton to San José this morning. Amazing, especially for a Friday. So that means I got to the airport extra early. Which is fine, because I hate having to rush. Anyway, I cannot wait to arrive in Vegas and step out into the 116* air. ;-)

Incredibly, I have everything set for the Spartanburg to Bay Area roadtrip with dad, so I don't have to worry about anything before our early (for me) 7:30am flight Sunday morning. So, I will pick it up again on Sunday at some point. Until then, Cheers! Jeff

Congrat's!! Uncle Jeff. Don't scratch it before you get it home. Did you make room in the garage for it? Ha! Ha! Hugs and kisses Todd, Jamie, Olivia, John, Wilson and Cosmo.

But it's a dry heat . . . Enjoy the Spartanburg plant! Be sure to eat at Soby's in Greenville (total YUM!) and check out the falls. The falls park and Soby's are both in downtown Greenville, not far from the BMW plant. I am sure the instructors at the Performance Driving School remember us (LOL)! Take lots of pictures at the Biltmore!

Take a picture of the odometer when you pick up the car, and take an odometer picture whenever you stop. These will make a nice mileage log that can be part of a slide show. This was posted from my iPhone :-)

Hey Jeff - you big geek!

Ok... I see your scheduled itinerary on the (partially loading) map image at the top of your blog. Are we only getting updates from the marked locations or are you going to be a rebel and post at will?

Anyways, I'll be watching to see the pics and humorous commentary.

Good luck!

(This is Scott by the way... that is my gaming nickname!)

Good to hear from you. Glad everything is going well. The car looks awesome I didn't know witch one you got. Can't wait to see it. Todd and Family

Well Jeff don't worry. We sold the ford Shelby GT so their should be plenty of room in the garage for the new car. I hope $10,000 was enough. See you soon. Hay I wonder what we could get for that bronco???

Uncle Jeff said...

Todd - you know, the '66 Shelby is like my only child. So selling a child is still illegal in this country. Wait - what country am I in? Oh yeah, still same country, whew! These time zones are driving me just a little nuts. Especially when my dad keeps saying "local or pacific?" Why do I need to know what time it is in SF if I am in Wisconsin?

I just got caught up (it has been very busy at work) and see that you are in Sioux Falls, my home town, today. Moment of silence. Want the addresses of the shrines (my birthplace, infancy house, toddler house, adolescent -teen house)? LOL! And tomorrow you drive across the state! I am sure that if I were with you, my ability to lend some local color would change your experience quite a bit. Do they still have the Wall Drug signs that advertise free ice water? Are all the Dances With Wolves signs still up?

I'm stoked you got some offroad training at BMW so we can go ride the Livermore mudpits in your new ride when you return!

Audrey:
Sorry I did not get this comment in time to check out your old 'hoods. OMG, those Wall Drug signs! "Featured in People Magazine", "Featured on CNN", 5-cent sodas, latest this and greatest that. There were so many signs, we were beginning to wonder if we should actually go see this place. I remember seeing 2 Dances with Wolves signs. Also, what's with the Black Hills Gold? A couple hundered of those signs too.
